Passion aroused by a series of surprises in life is the beginning of my career. Now I am going to introduce all the orchids that I collected and bred in the past 30 years ( started from 1975 ) to you who also is an orchidholic.

This is the third time to participate the Redland International Orchid Festival in Miami in the USA. In the past years, some of the members of the American Orchid Society (AOS) have suggested Joseph to send 12 plants of the same variety for judgment. This year Joseph has decided to send 12 plants of Phalaenopsis for judgment that has been registered her name as “P. Joy Spring Venus”. It was our pleasure to get three awards. One is “Award of Quality” and two are “Award of Merit”. It was a great moment when we got the awards at the Redland Show 2004. We were delighted to get the honor of getting the awards from the American Orchid Society. It is the highest reward for Joseph’s achievement for the past 28 years when he started to grow and collect Phalaenopsis.

In fact, “Award of Quality” is the positive appraisement to the cultivator. The comment from the AOS is that it is a very special and not normal white sibling flower. Shape is very nice. It is a very extraordinary new flower. Actually “P. Joy Spring Venus” has got the first prize (Blue Ribbon) of the white flower group at the World Orchid Conference 2002 in Malaysia.
